Currently a senior cardiologist in private practice, Professor Maurice Choo also served as Chairman of the Medical Faculty Research Committee, Director of the National University Medical Institute, Professor of Medicine, and Vice Dean at the National University of Singapore.
Prof. Choo was the first Nominated Member of Parliament appointed to the Singapore Parliament.
Ms. Elaine Low is the daughter of Dato' Dr. Low Tuck Kwong. She is a trained accountant and has recently completed a Masters in Public Policy programme. Elaine is assisting Dato’ Dr. Low in the running of some of his businesses.
Mr. Soh Gim Teik advises corporations through his firm, Finix Corporate Advisory LLP. He has considerable experience in finance, corporate governance and strategic management and is presently a board member in a number of public companies, government organisations as well as charitable and non-profit organisations. He was previously an executive director in a public company.
Mr. Soh is a CA (Singapore) with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) where he is a Board member and is currently the Second Vice Chairman in its Governing Council. He was previously named the Best CFO of the Year at the inaugural Singapore Corporate Awards in the mid-cap category.
Dr. Whang Hwee Yong is a senior medical oncologist in private practice. She was previously Associate Internist/Associate Professor of Medicine with the Department of Medicine at the MD Anderson Hospital in Texas, USA.
Mr. Sin was the Deputy Managing Director of Drew & Napier’s Corporate and Finance Department and the Co-head of the Capital Markets Practice before he retired to be a consultant with the firm in March 2018. Mr. Sin was made a partner in 1994 and became a director upon the corporatisation of Drew & Napier in 2001.
Mr. Sin is an independent director in a number of listed companies in Singapore. He was a Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC for 15 years from 1996 to 2011. Mr. Sin is currently the Second Advisor to Tampines Central Grassroots Organisation.
Mr. Lim Cheng Teck is an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad; a Member of the Board Credit Committee and Board Risk Committee. He currently holds leadership positions across various organizations, serving on the Boards of Minterest Holdings Pte Ltd and Bright Vision Community Hospital, Singapore. Additionally, he chairs the Board Committee for Sing Health Funds - Sing Health Community Hospitals.
He previously served as Regional Chief Executive Officer for ASEAN at Standard Chartered Bank; Chief Executive Officer of Pontiac Land Group; Director on the Boards of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd and Singapore International Chamber of Commerce; Governor of Singapore International Foundation; and Council Member of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore and Singapore National Employers Federation.
Additionally, he was the Chairman of Overseas Financial Service Commission, China Chamber of Commerce, the Vice Chairman of the Association of Banks Singapore and was a Member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Financial Centre Development Committee. He completed his 12-year term with the Advisory Board of Sim Kee Boon Institute of Financial Economics, Singapore Management University, in 2021.
