Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) -related cancers account for 5% of all cancers worldwide, and is rising in incidence in certain sites such as oropharyngeal and anal cancers. In the last decade, a wealth of research has been undertaken to understand the implications of HPV on these cancers, as well as to optimize screening and preventive measures. This CME talk seeks to educate the audience on the latest updates in the management of HPV-related cancers, from primary to tertiary care, with a special focus on cervical and anal cancers.
A series of quick-fire 10 minute talks by a multi-disciplinary panel of specialists including a pathologist, gynaecologist, radiation oncologist and medical oncologist will be aired to provide a comprehensive overview on the subject. An interactive "before & after" poll will also be included to gauge the audience's understanding of the topic.

Dr. David Tan
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. David Tan is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Asian American Radiation & Oncology. His clinical expertise is in the management of gynecological, gastrointestinal, hepato-biliary and lung cancers, and in the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). He is also trained in brachytherapy for gynaecological cancers.

Dr. Lynette Ngo
Medical Oncologist
Dr. Lynette Ngo graduated from National University of Singapore in 1996. She further pursued a Master of Medicine degree in Internal Medicine and obtained her membership of the Royal College of Physicians in UK in 2002. She received her post graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine from Edith Cowan University in Australia in 2006 and obtained her specialist accreditation in medical oncology from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2007. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society of Clinical Oncology (ESMO), Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ASGO) and Singapore Society of Oncology (SSO). She serves on the Singapore Cancer Network (SCAN) guidelines committee.

Dr. Adele Wong
Pathology Consultant
Dr. Adele Wong MB BCh BAO (Belfast) FRCPath (UK). Adele Wong received her basic and specialist training in Anatomic Pathology at SGH before moving to KKH to pursue her interest in Gynaecological and Breast pathology. She was appointed as a Consultant in Women’s Health Pathology in 2015. She has an interest in Pharmacogenomics and predictive molecular testing for diagnosis and cancer recurrence prevention. In 2015, she was awarded a 1-year HMDP in FY’15 (Sept 2015 - Aug 2016) for further subspecialty training in Gynaecological and Breast Pathology with intercalation of Molecular Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA. Upon her return, she led the roll out of Lynch Syndrome universal screening programme in Singapore at KKH. She currently oversees the screening programme and introduction of any useful molecular tests with important diagnostic or predictive clinical value for the Women’s Health Pathology service.
