Dr. Chong Chee Keong is a general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive breast surgery, diagnosing and managing breast cancer and colorectal cancer for 20 years. He has worked with many senior surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists to co-manage his patients' conditions.
Dr. Chong participated in various international cancer conferences to advance his knowledge and understanding of breast cancer. He also took time off work to do a stint in Japan to learn about minimally invasive breast cancer surgery and various reconstruction techniques. Dr. Chong also traveled to places like the US and Vietnam to upgrade his minimally invasive colorectal surgery skills.
He graduated in 1993 from the National University of Singapore, started specialist training in 1995, and was registered with the Singapore Specialist Accreditation Board in 2002. He also attained his fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Dr Chong's specialty interests are breast cancer surgery, colorectal surgery, gallstones, hernia, skin cancers and trauma surgery.
