Dr. KC Ang graduated from the Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne (1990). He was the first in the cohort to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) (1995) after completing advanced orthopedic training. He has also completed clinical fellowships in knee and sports medicine in the UK, and shoulder and elbow surgery in Australia.
Dr. Ang specialises in sports injuries in the knee and shoulder and management of osteoarthritis and joint diseases. As a strong proponent of computer-aided and minimally-invasive joint replacement surgery, most of his work includes arthroscopy or keyhole surgery. He has been actively involved in training surgeons from the region in arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder.
He runs a sports medicine clinic for undergraduates of the National University of Singapore and is the team physician to several rugby and sports clubs and associations in Singapore.
Dr. Ang's specialty interests are arthroscopy, cartilage repair, computer guided surgery and knee/hip replacement.
