Dr. John Hsiang
Gastroenterologist
Dr. John Hsiang is a Gastroenterologist who has just started at Livingstone Health. He has more than 15 years of clinical experience. He spent 5.5 years in the Singhealth cluster serving in the Gastroenterology Department at Sengkang General Hospital. He has special interests in fatty liver, viral hepatitis, irritable bowel syndrome and gastrointestinal cancer screening.
Dr. Hsiang graduated from Otago Medical School, New Zealand in 2003 and completed his specialist training in 2012. In 2013, he furthered his research career and post-specialist training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, under world-renowned Professor Henry Chan, Professor Vincent Wong and Professor Grace Wong.
Dr. Hsiang has published many peer-reviewed studies on a variety of topics including hepatitis B, obesity related liver disease, hepatitis C, gut microbiome, liver cirrhosis, helicobacter infection and alcoholic liver disease.
