Dr. Robert Lim is a medical oncologist and has over 20 years of experience in treating cancers. In particular, he has established his expertise in gastrointestinal, liver, biliary and pancreatic cancers. He has also co-authored various pivotal major studies in colon cancer and pancreatic cancer that have influenced clinical practice.
Dr. Lim has previously served as the Head of the Department of Haematology-Oncology and Associate Director of the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore. During his tenure, he led the department to the forefront of research focusing on developing new drug treatments and improving our understanding of the unique problem for Asians with cancer.
Dr. Robert Lim is a graduate of both the University of St Andrews and University of Edinburgh. He completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine followed by Hematology and Medical Oncology at The New York Hospital - Cornell University Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
In addition to his American Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology, he is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh.
Dr. Lim's specialty interests are oesophageal, gastric, colorectal, liver, biliary and pancreatic cancers.
