Dr. Stephen Tsao is an accomplished Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with a depth of credentials and wealth of experience in caring for patients. Prior to joining AliveoMedical, he was a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Adjunct Associate Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, as well as Senior Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
Dr. Tsao is a recognised leader in the field of Endoscopy and is frequently invited as faculty in both local and overseas conferences, both as speaker and to demonstrate advanced endoscopic procedure. He has a keen interest in maintaining standards for high-quality endoscopy and served as Director of Endoscopy Service at TTSH between 2019 and 2022.
Dr. Tsao has published widely in peer-reviewed academic journals and maintains his interest in teaching and training the next generation of specialist in advanced endoscopic techniques as Visiting Consultant at TTSH.
Dr. Tsao is currently the President of Gastroenterological Society of Singapore as well as the Vice-Chairman of the Chapter of Gastroenterologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Dr. Tsao's specialty interests are advanced diagnostic endoscopy and endoscopic resection.
